An awkward silence had fallen between Alden and Mitsu. ‘What did he just tell me?!’ Mitsu thought, ‘He wants me to become a demon? But why?’
Alden began to stroke Mitsu’s cheek, then slowly lowered his hand down to her neck, then her arm. “You’re so soft… I wonder what form this innocent body of yours will take as a demon?” he leaned closer to her, his breath pressing against her ear and neck. “Perhaps you’ll be gorgon? Or maybe something similar to Lilu?” Alden paused and smirked, licking my earlobe. “Or maybe a succubus? With pretty cloven hooves and nice horns... I hope that’s what you turn out to be, I’ve only ever seen one or two in my lifetime.”
Mitsu turned her head away from him only to return it to it’s original position as sharp pain filled her arms. She bit her lip to keep from screaming, causing Alden to grunt in disapproval. He sat up and rested his hand on her thigh, running his fingers along her skin until he got awfully close to the top.
“You won’t get much of a choice on this matter, I can assure you, you’ll become a demon one way or another. However, I will let you decide on when we should do it.” Alden gave her thigh a squeeze before standing up, “But I am a very impatient man.” he winked before starting for the door, his heavy steps echoing throughout the room, “The clock is ticking, Mitsu. Scream if you need me.”
With that, he was through the door and walking away from the room. Mitsu sighed and sat in silence for a little while, running over what just happened in her mind. ‘Could he really be serious about this? What if I just postpone this for as long as I can? Maybe Nolan or Sebastian will come for me...’
A loud stomp came from the corner of the room, followed by a painful ‘Oof!”. Mitsu carefully turned her head over to that side of the room just in time to see the candles all flutter to life, one by one. At the start of the candles, Cecil stood, shifting from foot to foot. He wouldn’t look Mitsu in the eye, but instead he shifted his suit and brushed it off. “I… I am sorry for my behavior earlier. I had no reason to lose my temper.” he muttered, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a couple of suckers. “So I brought some candy to help make it up. Candy always makes me feel better.”
Cecil practically skipped to my bedside, probably assuming he was forgiven for his temper. He loosened the bonds holding her down until Mitsu could finally sit up. She tried to stretch a little bit, but her body felt so numb it didn’t do her much good at the moment.
“I have the newest Funtom Company suckers! Look, this one is blue raspberry.” Cecil handed her a light blue one wrapped with a crinkly paper with the Phantomhive design. “Or there’s green apple,” Cecil slid a green one into her hands, “Or cherry!” He waved around a red one. “You can choose any flavor you like! I personally like cherry, it’s much less sour than the others.”
Mitsu stared at the two in her hand and plucked the green sucker. Cecil took the unwanted one and slid it into his pocket. Cecil quickly shed the wrapping on his sucker and placed it in his mouth, with the sucker bulging out the side of his cheek. He looked so happy until Mitsu opened hers and ate it, then his face shrunk. “What’s wrong? Isn’t that your favorite?” she asked, twirling her sucker between two fingers.
“It is.. But I just wish I could taste it. I love the color, red brings such happy and pleasurable memories. I would really like to be able to taste it though.” Cecil sat next to Mitsu, unbuttoning his jacket and tossing it aside so he was in a white button-up shirt. He stretched a little bit and looked at the ceiling that was probably ten feet tall. “That was one thing I wish Alden would have mentioned before he turned me. Can’t taste or smell food anymore. Only blood, souls, and depending on the animal, meat. Which isn’t so bad I guess.”
“How long have you been a demon, Cecil?” Mitsu asked, taking a bite out of the hard sucker.
“Oh, about fifty years. I’m thankful Alden turned me, don’t get me wrong. If I hadn’t been turned, I probably wouldn’t have made it so far in life. My mistress had her pets fight every day and I was barely lucky to survive as long as I did. Alden actually gave me an arm when he turned me,” Cecil lifted his right arm, bending and wiggling it. “I don’t know how to exactly use it correctly, I’m still used to doing everything with my left hand, but it’s nice having it around. I feel like a whole person.”
“Why did Alden turn you? Did he just come to you?” she bent the sucker stick, folding it over itself until it wouldn’t budge anymore.
“Sort of. I kind of prayed for someone… or something… to save me from her, even if it meant killing me. But one day, I was about to go against a new challenger from another owner. He was big and mean, there would’ve been no way for me to win. That’s when Alden showed up and gave me strength.” Cecil looked at her and smiled a little, “I think that’s also why he wanted you. You must be in danger, Mitsu.”
So I did it. I updated her. Yay. xD
Now only to decide how things play out. Maybe I should pull an Andrew Hussie and kill her and everyone else. And have life in hell.... That. Actually sounds pretty damn sweet.
